Brian Wallace (a.k.a. Lisa Linke), Out of Character, Friday at 8pm.

The Playground’s newest production, Out of Character, focuses on well-written and performed solo character sketches, turning each piece into a fully-realized improvised show. This week the Out of Character cast explores the life of Brian Wallace, as played by Lisa Linke, Friday at 8pm.
Brian Wallace is a PE teacher in his early 50s from Youngstown, OH. Brian recognizes that his chances for a career in the majors floated away after a series of incidents while in college, playing NCAA baseball. None of which were in his control. He’s accepted his lot in life as a secondary education teacher - dealing with hooligans and rascals and neither of which he could honestly care one bit for.
Out of Character is performed by Mel Evans, Sarah Fineout, Sayjal Joshi, Lisa Linke, Wendy Mateo, Anthony Oberbeck, Conner O’Malley, Patrick Raynor, Patrick Rowland, Micah Sterenberg, and Rob White. The show is directed and produced by Matt Barbera.
Tickets are just $10, and our theater is always BYOB. Two Playground improv ensembles — The Fling + Wing Night — also perform.
