Misty Burgers (a.k.a. Sarah Fineout), Out of Character, Friday at 8pm.

The Playground’s newest production, Out of Character, focuses on well-written and performed solo character sketches, turning each piece into a fully-realized improvised show. This week the Out of Character cast explores the life of Misty Burgers, as played by Sarah Fineout, Friday at 8pm.
Misty is a 14 year old high school student at Green Valley High. She produces a podcast out of her bedroom called “real handy style” that provides helpful tips on how to be stylish without spending a lot of money. When Misty is not recording her podcast or decorating her bedroom, you can find her at band practice (french horn), going for long walks, or snacking in the kitchen. Misty has one older brother named Scott who does almost nothing to keep her from being mercilessly teased at school.
Out of Character is performed by Mel Evans, Sarah Fineout, Sayjal Joshi, Lisa Linke, Wendy Mateo, Anthony Oberbeck, Conner O’Malley, Patrick Raynor, Patrick Rowland, Micah Sterenberg, and Rob White. The show is directed and produced by Matt Barbera.
Tickets are just $10, and our theater is always BYOB. Two Playground improv ensembles — Homey Loves Chachi and Karate Van — also perform.
